​Our Policies

1. Veterinary Care


  • ​​​I understand that my pet's comfort and safety are first priorities with All Around Pet Salon. Every effort will be made to ensure my pet's grooming is pleasant and safe. However, if my pet becomes ill or is hurt and ​the services of a veterinarian are required, I hereby give All Around Pet Salon permission to obtain treatment if I am not available to do so and I agree to pay such expenses.


2. Tranquilized or Sedated Pets


  • ​I understand that if my pet needs to be given a tranquilizer or needs to be sedated in order to be groomed All Around Pet Salon will be unable to groom them, the dangers and risks of having pets tranquilized or sedated without proper veterinary supervisions are just too great. If my pet requires sedatives to be groomed, All Around Pet Salon insists that I schedule my pet's appointment with my vet, or with a groomer who works directly with a veterinarian so that if problems occur the correct procedures may be followed to ensure my pet is, at all times, 100% safe. I understand that if my pet is medicated without giving notification, I agree that All Around Pet Salon will not be held liable for any consequences that occur from the medication and the failure to inform them.


​3. Safety


  • ​Safe​ty comes first for everyone during the grooming process, people as well as pets. I must inform All Around Pet Salon prior to grooming if my pet has bitten someone or has aggressive tendencies. As the owner I will be held liable for any bites or any property damage caused by my pet(s). I understand that All Around Pet Salon will stop the grooming process if they feel my pet's behavior is compromising his safety or theirs. Pro-rated charges will apply.


​4. Senior Pets & Pets with Health Problems


  • ​Grooming procedures sometimes can be stressful, especially for a senior pet or pet with health problems, and can expose hidden medical conditions or aggravate existing ones, during or after the grooming. Because senior pets and pets with health problems have a greater chance of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress. I will not hold All Around Pet Salon responsible for accident or injury to my elderly or health compromised pet during their grooming.


5. Mat Removal


  • ​Removing a heavily matted coat includes risks of nicks, cuts or abrasions due to warts, moles or skin folds trapped in the mats. Heavy matting can also trap moisture near the pet's skin allowing mold, fungus or bacteria to grow, causing skin irritations that exist prior to the grooming process. After-effects of mat removal procedures can include itchiness, skin redness, self-inflicted irritations or abrasions and failure of the hair to regrow. Shaved pets are also prone to sunburn and should either have sun screen applied daily or should be kept out of the sun until the hair grows sufficiently to protect the skin. In some cases pets may also exhibit brief behavioral changes. As the owner, I am responsible for the condition of my pet's coat and I will not hold All Around Pet Salon responsible in the event of adverse effects of mat removal.


6. Summer Shave-downs


  • ​Shaving a heavily coated dog during the summer is NOT recommended. In both hot and cold weather, a dog's coat helps regulate body heat, provide insulation and protect from the sun. Coats that are shaved off, particularly on arctic breeds, may grow back patchy, uneven or not at all.


7. Personal Shampoo or Other Product​​


  • Although All Around Pet Salon uses only the finest pet products available, I understand that if I have a special shampoo, conditioner or other product for my pet that I prefer being used, I agree to let them use it to assure comfort and consistency to my pet's grooming experience.


8. Facebook and Webpage posting


  • I understand that All Around Pet Salon will be posting before and after pictures of my pet(s) on their Facebook page at facebook.com/allaroundpetsalon and possibly to the official All Around Pet Salon website at www.allaroundpetsalon.com. 


​9. Appointment arrival time​


  • I understand that All Around Pet Salon will arrive as close to the scheduled appointment time as possible. However, they will never jeopardize the safety or well-being of their client's pet(s) by hastening a groom, nor will they put the stylist at unnecessary risk by rushing to the next appointment. I understand that All Around Pet Salon will call or text me in the event of any change in their arrival time.


10. Cancellations


  • ​On rare occasions, All Around Pet Salon may need to cancel appointments due to weather, road conditions, equipment failure, etc. I understand that every effort will be made to contact me in advance. If I cannot keep my appointment I agree to call at least 24 hours in advance so that they may fill my spot. I understand that failure to call in advance or failure to have my pet available for the grooming services scheduled will result in a charge of $25.


11. Payment Policy


  • All grooming fees must be paid at the time services are rendered. Payments accepted include cash, checks, and credit/debit cards. All credit/debit card transactions will incur a 3.95% processing fee. Checks returned due to insufficient funds will be subject to a $25 returned check fee. I also understand I may be placed on a cash only basis thereafter.


12. Home and Property Damages


  • I understand that All Around Pet Salon will not be held responsible for damages to my yard, home, or property while on a service call for grooming my pet(s).


13. Leaving the Home and Property

  • I understand that All Around Pet Salon must be informed if I have to leave my home and property via in person, text, or phone call.
